I’ve had a little more time lately to make progress on Phoebe’s bed frame. I recently finished the primary mortise and tenon joints and fit the main posts and rails of the headboard and footboard. The next step is cutting secondary mortise in the top and bottom rails for the pillow slats as I am calling them. I am going to have to build a jig to hold the boards on edge for these cuts which are going to be the most challenging step in this bed design.
Wireshark is the world’s foremost network protocol analyzer. It’s also one of the most successful open source projects in existence, 11 years in the making. I enjoyed working with Gerald Combs and the team at CACE Technologies to design and help implement a new look and structure for the Wireshark web site and Gerald’s official Wireshark blog.
